Gold

We work with a vast array of gold alloys — including white, yellow, and rose gold in 9ct, 14ct, and 18ct — to achieve flawless colour consistency and an impeccable surface finish for all gold casting requirements. Plus we also cast in SMO gold options, giving you and your customers’ choice as standard.

Silver

An essential and versatile metal for jewellery production and used widely across many bespoke pieces and broader collections. Our expert casting process uses 100% recycled 925 Sterling Silver as standard, with an option for a tarnish-resistant alloy too.

Platinum

No longer reserved for bridal ranges, platinum is renowned for its natural white sheen and incredible durability. With a much higher melting point than gold or silver, our platinum casting process handles this precious metal with the precision required to produce castings that are built to last a lifetime.

Brass

As a versatile and affordable alloy, brass is a popular choice for everything from prototypes to finished collections. Our brass casting service delivers a smooth finish and precise detail, creating highly durable and corrosion-resistant pieces that are perfect for both simple and complex designs.

FAQ’s

What is metal casting?

Metal casting is a manufacturing process where molten metal is poured into a mould shaped like the final product. Once the metal cools and solidifies, the mould is removed to reveal the finished casting.

What metals can be cast?

Almost all precious metals can be cast for jewellery, including gold, silver, and platinum. Alloys such as white gold, rose (sometimes called Red or Rose interchangeably) gold, and sterling silver are also widely used. The choice of metal depends on factors like desired colour, durability, weight, budget, and the story a customer wants their piece to tell — whether that’s luxury, everyday wear, or ethical sourcing.

What are the main types of metal casting?

While our specialist area of metal casting is lost wax casting, other methods do exist, including;

  • Sand casting – low-cost, versatile, good for large parts.
  • Die casting – high precision and speed, suited to high-volume production.
  • Investment or Lost Wax casting – excellent for fine detail, jewellery, and specialist parts.
  • Permanent mould casting – reusable molds, consistent results.
  • Centrifugal casting – ideal for pipes, rings, and cylindrical parts.
